Our first step in advocacy is to build a comprehensive understanding of each senior’s unique situation, preferences, and rights. This enables us to represent them effectively in various settings, from medical appointments to discussions with care facilities. Our approach ensures that the senior’s voice is heard and their choices are respected, empowering them to maintain control over their lives.

Continuing our advocacy efforts, we focus on establishing and maintaining open lines of communication with all parties involved in the senior’s care. This includes coordinating with healthcare providers, legal representatives, and family members to ensure that decisions are made in the best interest of the senior. How it works

Our advocacy service begins with an initial consultation to understand the senior’s needs and preferences. We then represent or accompany the senior in important meetings and discussions, ensuring their wishes are communicated and considered. Throughout the process, we provide guidance and support to the family, helping them understand and navigate the complexities of elder care.

I met Rosanne in 2019 when she was serving as the geriatric care manager for a husband and wife who were at a very difficult stage of their lives and who had no local family to help with the daily medical needs they were requiring. Roseanne reached out to me, as she saw the need for a primary care physician who could provide home visits to this aging couple. Without the extensive services that Roseanne put in place, this couple would have surely been separated, one in a memory care facility and the other likely in a nursing home. They continued to live at home together with the expert help provided by Roseanne.
